On June 15, hundreds marched outside the Ukrainian Parliament to demand the legalization of medicinal cannabis in the country. The legalization of medicinal cannabis – in particular, cannabis oils – was supported by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview to RBC-Ukraine. However, it will not be just up to Zelensky to approve the law, the draft of which is already in the Parliament. The Parliament is expected to consider approving it on July 11, just 10 days before the anticipated July 21 snap parliamentary election.
