Man arrested after strange plants found growing in woodland

CANNABIS found growing in South Oxfordshire woodland has led to an arrest.

Police discovered the crop of Class B drugs in a ‘wooded area’ in Chinnor, according to a tweet shared by officers this morning.

The tweet added: “A suspect was identified by the Thame neighborhood team and has been subsequently arrested.

“The plants have been removed and will be destroyed.”

Police had previously been tipped off about the plants and a male suspect.
