Police seize £15,000 cannabis haul from property

POLICE have seized about £15,000 worth of cannabis plants from a property in Tottington this morning.

Officers from the Bury North Neighbourhood Police Team made the discovery this morning after acting on information received about suspicious activity at the address.

After attending the address, they seized about 100 plants, which have now been incinerated.

A post from GMP Bury North published on Facebook said: “This morning the Bury North Neighbourhood Police Team acted on information received about suspicious activity at an address in Tottington.

“We seized approximately 100 cannabis plants which have now been incinerated. That’s an approximate street value of £15,000 going up in smoke.
