Man arrested on suspicion of cannabis offences released

A man arrested on suspicion of the possession and cultivation of cannabis at a house in the Netherhall area of Leicester yesterday has been released under investigation.

Several officers, in three vehicles, went to Lymington Road at around 7.30am and arrested a 43-year-old man from an address.

Leicestershire Police later released a statement saying the man, from Leicester, was arrested on suspicion of possession and cultivation of cannabis.

A police spokeswoman today said the man had been released under investigation.
