A British man arrested in Spain has denied being involved in a £4m cannabis dealing plot.
Jamie Acourt, 42, from south London, pleaded not guilty at Kingston Crown Court on Thursday to conspiracy to supply cannabis resin, a controlled drug of class B.
Acourt was arrested in Spain in May following a joint operation by the National Crime Agency, Crimestoppers and Spanish authorities.
He appeared in the dock wearing blue jeans and a navy T-shirt, with his hair scraped back in a bun.
It is alleged Acourt was part of a conspiracy to supply cannabis resin over a period of more than two years from January 1, 2014 to February 2, 2016.
He will remain in custody and is due to go on trial at Kingston Crown Court on December 3.
The trial is expected to last five days.
